Welcome to Envision Science Academy

Envision Science Academy is a K-8 STEAM public charter school that provides tuition-free education to all North Carolina students. Our mission is to provide innovative instruction through experiential learning with a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) in order to prepare elementary and middle school students to compete, lead, and excel in the global marketplace.

Stimulate the whole mind.  Educate the whole child.

Section_Bullet_Announce1Closings & Delays

Envision will no longer follow Wake County Public Schools for school delays and closings.  Many of you may have noticed that Envision was listed separately on radio and TV announcements for the recent closing associated with Hurricane Matthew.  Official notifications for any delays or closings will be posted on WRAL and its affiliated radio and television stations under Public Schools.  Information will also be posted on our website and official ESA social media sites.

Field Trips

To facilitate the highest degree of safety, we require chaperones and/or drivers to meet background check requirements, complete proper training, and have on file all appropriate paperwork.  This is true regardless of whether you are chaperoning/driving your own child or others. If you are not sure you have met all of the requirements, please contact the main office.  Anyone who has not met all of the requirements will not be able to participate on the field trip in any capacity.

Our Future Home

Our future home is located at 590 Traditions Grande Blvd in Wake Forest. Visit the Facility Updates page often for information and updates on the construction of our new campus.

Wall of Honor Campaign

Our Wall of Honor Campaign is still going strong in an effort to "STEAMify" our instructional program. Give $100 or more and your donation will be recognized on our Wall of Honor in the elementary school’s entryway.  Click here for more information.

Donor's Choose

Visit ESA's Donor's Choose page to help our school defray costs for certain "wish list" items so we can most effectively and efficiently use school resources.  Donor's Choose allows our teachers to create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
