STEM School of the Year
On May 24, 2017, Envision Science Academy won the 2017 Golden Gear Award for STEM School of the Year at the 2nd Annual STEMmy Awards, presented by US2020 RTP (now known as STEM in the Park). Accepting the award on behalf of ESA were Dr. Fuller (Principal) and Bill Prentice (STEAM Curriculum Coach). In 2016, Envision was one of three finalist for the STEM School of the Year category.

Teachers of Critical Languages Program
Envision was selected by the 2016-2017 Teachers of Critical Languages Program to host a fully funded Chinese (Mandarin) teacher. Ms. Huang Shu is our exchange Mandarin teacher, serving at the middle school. The program, sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, is designed to increase the study and acquisition of important world languages in U.S. schools. This program is implemented by the American Councils for International Education.
US2020 STEMmy Awards
Envision was named a finalist for the 1st Annual STEMmy Awards in the STEM School of the Year category. US2020 Research Triangle Park hosted the 1st Annual STEMmy Awards on May 25, 2016 at the Research Triangle Park Headquarters. The STEMmy Awards highlight the STEM education and mentoring accomplishments of contributors from around the Triangle.
