Groundbreaking Celebration

Envision Science Academy held a Groundbreaking Celebration for its new facility on June 10, 2016 at the site of the new campus in Wake Forest.  Envision families, friends, staff and community partners showed up to lend their support and participate in this exciting event.  Special guest speakers included Vivian Jones, the Mayor of Wake Forest, and Dr. Bill McNeal, Senior Advisor to the ESA Board of Directors.  Click here for a copy of the event program.

ESA Bond Financing

The Board of Directors of Envision Science Academy announced that it received $11.7 million in bond proceeds to secure land and build a permanent facility.  On May 17, 2016, BB&T Capital Markets, the underwriter, successfully facilitated the closing of the non-rated tax-exempt and taxable revenue bonds issued by the Public Finance Authority.  The bond proceeds will be used to acquire about 15 acres of land, on which Envision Science Academy will construct an approximately 62,000 square foot, two story building with sizeable classrooms, science and STEAM labs, a middle school regulation size gymnasium, and adjacent recreational space consisting of playground areas, athletics fields, and open spaces.  Renderings of the new facility, including images of the exterior of the building and interior floor plans, may be viewed on the school’s website.  The new site is located at the intersection of Traditions Grande Boulevard and Oak Grove Church Road in Wake Forest, North Carolina.  A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for June 2016 to celebrate the new construction.

Renderings of New Facility

Envision is excited to share renderings of our new facility, which includes images of the exterior of the building and the interior floor plans.  The renderings are also posted in the elementary school on the wall next to the front office.

Final Wake Forest Approval

Envision received its final approval from the Wake Forest Board of Commissioners to build its new facility in the Traditions neighborhood.  More in Wake Forest Weekly...

Planning Board Approval

Articles in the Wake Forest Weekly and the Wake Forest Gazette talk about the unanimous approval from the Town of Wake Forest Planning Board for our school's new location.

Exciting News!  We Have a Home!

Envision Science Academy, and our developers, are pleased to announce that we have secured a location for the permanent home of our school! The future site is nestled in the prestigious Traditions neighborhood off Traditions Grande Boulevard in Wake Forest, NC. The site features areas for the new building, visitor/staff parking, carpool queuing and open space, which will accommodate Envision's successfully growing enrollment. Our developers will continue to move forward with Town and State approvals over the next several months.  The approval process is often an unpredictable part of the schedule, and more updates will provided as they become available. Until we are certain that the new building will be completed on time, we will play it safe and evaluate contingency space plans for the fall of 2016. We appreciate the support and patience of all staff, families and stakeholders while planning this momentous facility project.
