Our Mission is: to provide innovative instruction through experiential learning with a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) in order to prepare elementary and middle school students to compete, lead, and excel in the global marketplace.
Our Vision is: by engaging in project based learning, students will be prepared to pursue STEAM related careers and become lifelong learners.

Envision Science Academy is a K-8 tuition-free public charter school. We have a STEAM and Project Based Learning approach. We are committed to achieving our mission. To that end, we make intentional, data-driven decisions to enable our students to thrive and become productive members of our community and society at-large. STEAM News & Events
On Thursday, September 5th 2019 Envision Science Academy was officially recognized by the State Board of Education at their regular meeting as a NC Model STEM School of Distinction, the only school in the State to pass the rigorous application process in 2018-2019. Envision is 1 of 2 charter schools to hold this title and 1 of less than 10 public schools in the State to have the highest "Model" designation.
ESA held an in-house competition for Doodle for Google and here are a few of our winners and honorable mentions. This year's theme was Self Care. Entries were judged on:

Artistic merit: Based on artistic skill

Creativity: Representation of the contest theme, use of the letters in the Google logo, and the unique approach to the Doodle

Theme communication: How well the contest theme is expressed in both the artwork and the written statement
ESA's Garden Squad is gearing up for another year! There are currently 35 students signed up to help take care of our garden efforts and make improvements on our garden infrastructure.
