Business Club

Who can participate?

Business Club is open to students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

When does Business Club meet?

There are two groups, one that meets on Tuesdays and the other on Thursdays. However, starting the week of March 21, 2022, both groups will be combined and business club will only meet on Thursdays. 

What does Business Club do?

The first portion of the class consists of an educational piece in which students are introduced to the business concepts that they will be expected to apply. The rest of the sessions are student-led. Students work in teams of 5 students from different grade levels. Each team elects their leader in the first week. Students then start  market research and use tools like resource mapping and the passion match to generate ideas.  After the research phase is complete, teams select their best idea and draft a business plan.  Lastly, teams market and sell their product to the ESA community.
